Irish Coffee

Description

Irish Coffee takes a familiar cocktail structure and gives it a more distinctive point of view. The recipe combines Irish whiskey, hot black coffee, Brown sugar syrup, Lightly whipped double cream, and grated nutmeg. The goal is silkiness rather than simple sweetness: proper chilling and controlled dilution keep the base visible beneath the richer ingredients.

It works especially well after dinner or when you want one drink to feel like a small occasion in its own right. Use fresh ice and serve promptly so the texture and aroma arrive at their best.
