Description

The Paper Plane was created by bartender Sam Ross in 2007 and named after the M.I.A. song. It is a balanced and refreshing bourbon cocktail.

This drink is a variation of the Last Word, using Aperol and Amaro Nonino to create a unique bittersweet profile.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml Bourbon
  • 30 ml Aperol
  • 30 ml Amaro Nonino
  • 30 ml lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  3. No garnish required.

120–240 ml Stemmed glass with a broad shallow bowl.

Best for: Daiquiri, Sidecar, Manhattan served up, Gimlet, Clover Club.

Garnish: Great for expressed citrus peels, cherries, and small edible flowers.
