French Martini

Description

French Martini earns its place in the glass by keeping the idea clear. The recipe combines Vodka, Chambord, and Pineapple juice. Fresh acidity gives the drink its shape, while sweeter and aromatic ingredients round the edges rather than masking the base.

Serve it very cold as a first drink, a weekend cocktail or a lively round with friends. Taste before serving and make small adjustments; balance is easier to preserve that way.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml Vodka
  • 20 ml Chambord
  • 40 ml Pineapple juice
  • Ice
  • Lemon twist

Instructions

  1. Add the vodka, raspberry liqueur and pineapple juice to a shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake hard for 12 to 15 seconds to chill and aerate the pineapple.
  3. Fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Express a lemon peel over the surface and serve.
