The Gin Rickey was first created in the late 19th century in Washington, D.C. Known for its simplicity, it features gin, lime juice, and soda water for a light and bubbly refreshment.

This cocktail is an excellent alternative to a gin and tonic, with a more citrus-forward profile.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Gin
  • 15 ml lime juice
  • Soda Water to top

Instructions

  1. Fill a highball glass with ice.
  2. Add gin and fresh lime juice.
  3. Top with soda water and stir gently.
  4. Garnish with a lime wheel.
