Description

Dolly Sparkler is built as a music-inspired cocktail rather than a classic replica. The ingredients — Vodka, Strawberry liqueur, Champagne cordial, sparkling wine. Serve well chilled — are used to suggest stage presence, colour and personality.

The aim is to make the drink feel instantly recognisable on a party menu: easy to photograph, easy to describe and expressive enough to sit alongside other artist-themed cocktails.

Serve it on playlist nights, birthdays, pre-concert gatherings or any cocktail list where the story behind the serve matters as much as the flavour.

Ingredients

  • 40 ml Vodka
  • 20 ml Strawberry Liqueur
  • 10 ml Champagne Cordial
  • 80 ml Sparkling Wine
  • garnish
  • Ice

Equipment needed

Bar Spoon – Used to stir the drink smoothly with ice before serving. Muddler – Useful for gently pressing herbs, fruit or sugar when building the drink. Bottle Opener – Useful if the serve uses bottled soda, ginger beer or sparkling wine.

Instructions

  1. Add the spirit, citrus and flavouring ingredients to a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake briefly until the base is cold.
  3. Strain into the serving glass filled with fresh ice.
  4. Top with the sparkling ingredient, stir gently and garnish.

240–350 ml Tall cylindrical shape with room for ice and mixer.

Best for: Moscow Mule, Dark and Stormy, Scotch Highball, Rum and Coke, Mojito variations.

Garnish: Good for wedges, spears, herbs, and long-drink garnishes.
