Description

The Caesar is the signature cocktail of Canada, invented in 1969 by bartender Walter Chell in Calgary. It was inspired by Italian flavours and became an instant classic.

Made with vodka, Clamato juice, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and a spiced rim, this drink is a savoury and spicy alternative to the Bloody Mary.

Ingredients

  • 50 ml Vodka
  • 120 ml Clamato Juice
  • 2 dashes Hot Sauce
  • 3 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
  • Celery Salt to taste
  • 1 piece Celery Stick (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rim a glass with celery salt.
  2. Fill the glass with ice and add vodka.
  3. Top with Clamato juice, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Stir and garnish with a celery stick.
