Cocktail recipe

Painkiller recipe.

Painkiller is velvety, soft and more grown-up than it looks, with Rum, Pineapple Juice, Orange Juice and Coconut Cream giving the drink a clearer flavour story and a more useful reason to make it.

Painkiller

Description

Painkiller should feel intentional from the first sip, not like a random mixture poured over ice. The point is texture as much as flavour. Rum, pineapple juice, orange juice and coconut cream create a soft, rounded drink, but the best version still has enough spirit and aromatic detail to avoid becoming a milkshake. It should feel plush, not cloying.

A small garnish or spice note helps the finish, giving the richness somewhere to go after the first sip.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Navy Rum
  • 120 ml Pineapple juice
  • 30 ml Orange juice

Instructions

  1. Fill a shaker with ice and add rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, and coconut cream.
