Description

The Last Word was first created at the Detroit Athletic Club during Prohibition. It fell out of popularity until its revival in the early 2000s.

The drink balances the herbal notes of Green Chartreuse with the citrus of lime juice, creating a vibrant and complex flavour.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml Gin
  • 30 ml Green Chartreuse
  • 30 ml Maraschino Liqueur
  • 30 ml lime juice
  • 1 cherry (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  3. Garnish with a cherry.
