Description

The Martini is one of the most iconic cocktails, synonymous with elegance and simplicity. Believed to have originated in the late 19th century, its roots are often traced to either the town of Martinez, California, or New York City.

The cocktail gained widespread popularity during the Prohibition era and later cemented its status as a symbol of refinement through its association with figures like James Bond.

The classic Martini is typically made with gin and dry vermouth, though variations like the Vodka Martini have also become popular. It is often garnished with an olive or a twist of lemon peel.
