Gimlet

Description

The Gimlet is one of the purest ways to understand gin. There is nowhere for the spirit to hide: just gin, lime and a little sweetness, brought together into a short, sharp drink that feels both spare and complete.

Historically tied to lime cordial and naval drinking culture, the Gimlet can be made brighter with fresh lime or softer with cordial. Either way, the best version is brisk, cold and focused, with the citrus slicing through the botanicals like a clean line.

  • 30 ml lime juice (fresh)
  • 15 ml Simple Syrup
  • 1 piece lime juice (wheel, optional)
