Description

Elvis Velvet is built as a music-inspired cocktail rather than a classic replica. The ingredients — Whiskey, Banana syrup, bitters, Peanut tincture, Expressed citrus peel. Serve well chilled — are used to suggest stage presence, colour and personality.

The aim is to make the drink feel instantly recognisable on a party menu: easy to photograph, easy to describe and expressive enough to sit alongside other artist-themed cocktails.

Serve it on playlist nights, birthdays, pre-concert gatherings or any cocktail list where the story behind the serve matters as much as the flavour.

Ingredients

  • 50 ml Whiskey
  • 10 ml Banana Syrup
  • 2 dashes Bitters
  • 5 ml Peanut Tincture
  • Ice
  • Expressed citrus peel

Equipment needed

Bar Spoon – Used to stir the drink smoothly with ice before serving.

Instructions

  1. Add the liquid ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake hard for 12 to 15 seconds until the drink is properly chilled.
  3. Fine strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice or served straight up.
  4. Garnish to echo the main flavour and serve immediately.
