The Yuzu Paloma Highball is a crisp Japanese-Mexican fusion cocktail that takes the refreshing shape of a Paloma and gives it a brighter citrus lift. Blanco tequila brings clean agave character, grapefruit juice adds bitter-sweet freshness, and yuzu gives the drink a sharp, aromatic citrus note that feels more delicate and floral than lime alone.
Agave rounds out the acidity, while soda water stretches the drink into a light, sparkling highball. The result is refreshing, elegant and easy to drink, with enough complexity to make it feel more special than a standard long tequila serve.
This is the kind of cocktail that works beautifully for summer parties, aperitif hours, garden drinks or lighter food pairings. Bright, fizzy and citrus-led, the Yuzu Paloma Highball is simple in shape but distinctive in flavour, clean, refreshing and quietly sophisticated.
