Snowball

Description

The Snowball is a British festive classic with a very particular charm. Advocaat gives it creamy vanilla-custard richness, lemonade adds fizz and sweetness, and lime cuts through just enough to stop it feeling too heavy.

It became a Christmas favourite in the 1970s, but its appeal is not just nostalgia. It is light, frothy, gently boozy and almost dessert-like without requiring any effort. Serve it cold and it feels like a party drink from another era that still knows how to have fun.

Ingredients

  • 50 ml Advocaat
  • 100 ml Lemonade
  • 10 ml lime juice

Instructions

  1. Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.
