Description

Rihanna Rush is built as a music-inspired cocktail rather than a classic replica. The ingredients — Rum, Guava syrup, lime, Chilli syrup. Serve well chilled — are used to suggest stage presence, colour and personality.

The aim is to make the drink feel instantly recognisable on a party menu: easy to photograph, easy to describe and expressive enough to sit alongside other artist-themed cocktails.

Serve it on playlist nights, birthdays, pre-concert gatherings or any cocktail list where the story behind the serve matters as much as the flavour.

Ingredients

50 ml Rum
20 ml Guava syrup
25 ml lime
10 ml Chilli Syrup
Ice
garnish

Equipment needed

Cocktail Shaker – Used to chill, dilute and integrate the cocktail before serving. Muddler – Useful for gently pressing herbs, fruit or sugar when building the drink. Fine Mesh Strainer – Use for a polished double-strain when citrus, fruit or herbs are shaken.

Instructions

Add the liquid ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake hard for 12 to 15 seconds until the drink is properly chilled.
Fine strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice or served straight up.
Garnish to echo the main flavour and serve immediately.
