Description

The Mezcal Margarita takes the familiar structure of the Margarita and gives it a deeper, smokier edge through mezcal. It keeps the lime-bright, orange-led balance of the original while offering a more savoury and distinctive finish.

Ingredients

50 ml Mezcal
25 ml lime juice (fresh)
20 ml Triple Sec
1 piece Salt (rim optional)

Equipment needed

Cocktail Shaker Fine Mesh Strainer

Instructions

Rim the glass with salt if desired.
Add mezcal, lime juice, and triple sec to a shaker with ice.
Shake until well chilled.
Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice or serve up.
