The Toronto cocktail dates back to the early 20th century and is a Canadian twist on an Old Fashioned.

The bold herbal bitterness of Fernet Branca pairs beautifully with rye whiskey, making it a robust and unique drink.

Ingredients

  • 50 ml Rye whiskey
  • 10 ml Fernet-Branca
  • 10 ml Simple Syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • 1 piece Orange Twist (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Stir all ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a rocks glass over ice.
  3. Garnish with an orange twist.
