Sherbet Fountain Spritz

Description

The Sherbet Fountain Spritz is a mischievous little nostalgia drink: lemony fizz, sherbet tang and a whisper of liquorice. Limoncello brings bright sweetness, prosecco lifts it, and the aniseed note nods to the liquorice centre of the classic sweet without taking over the glass.

It works because it stays light. Rather than turning the sweet into a heavy dessert drink, it uses bubbles and lemon to keep everything fresh. The result is playful, sparkling and just odd enough to make people smile.

Ingredients

  • 40 ml Limoncello
  • 20 ml Aniseed Liqueur
  • 20 ml lemon juice
  • 15 ml Sugar syrup
  • Prosecco to top
  • Ice

Instructions

Crush a small amount of sherbet and use it to rim a large wine glass.

Fill the glass with ice cubes.

Add limoncello, aniseed liqueur, lemon juice, and sugar syrup.

Stir gently to combine.

Top with Prosecco or sparkling wine.

Garnish with a liquorice stick for stirring just like dipping into sherbet.
