Roasted Pineapple Old Fashioned

Description

Roasted Pineapple Old Fashioned is built around dark rum, roasted pineapple syrup, bitters, giving it a clear identity from the first sip. It takes the Old Fashioned idea of spirit, sweetness and bitters and bends it towards a more seasonal or expressive mood.

What makes it great is the balance: the base brings structure, the fruit or aromatic element gives personality, and the chilled serve keeps everything crisp. It has enough theatre for a cocktail menu but remains simple enough for a confident home bartender.

It works beautifully for weekends, garden drinks and pre-dinner rounds because the flavour is clear without becoming hard work.
