Olive Leaf Martini

Description

The appeal of Olive Leaf Martini is immediate: it has a strong flavour direction without becoming complicated. The recipe combines Gin, Olive leaf liqueur, and Vermouth modifier. Dilution matters here: enough water opens the aromatics and softens the edges, while over-dilution would flatten the character of the spirit and modifiers.

It suits an unhurried evening, a pre-dinner pour or a late-night drink when you want something composed rather than flashy. Use fresh ice and serve promptly so the texture and aroma arrive at their best.

Ingredients

  • 50 ml Gin
  • 20 ml Olive leaf liqueur
  • 10 ml Vermouth modifier
  • Ice
  • Twist, fruit

Instructions

  1. Add the liquid ingredients to a mixing glass with plenty of ice.
  2. Stir until very cold and lightly diluted.
  3. Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice or served straight up.
  4. Garnish with a clean aromatic finish and serve immediately.
