Bloody Fang Spritz
Description
The spritz originated in Northern Italy as a refreshing aperitif. The Bloody Fang Spritz adds pomegranate juice and grenadine for a sinister blood-red hue. Its sparkling, effervescent finish recalls vampire mythology while staying social and shareable, just like the Aperol spritz craze that swept Europe in the 2010s.
Ingredients
• 50ml Aperol
• 50ml pomegranate juice
• 100ml prosecco
• Dash grenadine
• Soda water
• Pomegranate seeds
Instructions
Fill a large wine glass with plenty of fresh ice cubes.
Pour in the Aperol, pomegranate juice, and grenadine.
Gently stir once to combine.
Top up with chilled prosecco and a splash of soda water.
Add a handful of pomegranate seeds to float in the drink.
Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim for contrast.
