The Army and Navy cocktail is a gin-based drink that dates back to World War II. It was first published in David Emburys "The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks."
The combination of gin, lemon juice, and orgeat syrup creates a smooth and slightly nutty flavour.
Ingredients
50 ml Gin
20 ml lemon juice
15 ml Orgeat Syrup
Instructions
Shake all ingredients with ice.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with a lemon twist.
