Description

The Tuxedo cocktail dates back to the late 19th century and was named after the Tuxedo Park Club in New York.

This drink is a variation of the classic martini, incorporating absinthe and maraschino liqueur for added complexity.

Ingredients

  • 50 ml Gin
  • 25 ml Dry Vermouth
  • 5 ml Maraschino Liqueur
  • 1 dash Absinthe
  • 2 dashes Orange Orange bitters

Instructions

  1. Stir all ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  3. Garnish with a cherry.
