Salted Maple Espresso Tini

Description

Salted Maple Espresso Tini is designed around contrast. Vodka and coffee liqueur create the familiar Espresso Martini base, fresh espresso supplies roast and foam, and maple syrup adds a darker sweetness than standard sugar syrup.

Two drops of 20% saline make the coffee taste rounder and the maple more distinct without making the drink taste salty.

Ingredients

  • 40 ml Vodka
  • 20 ml Coffee Liqueur
  • 30 ml Espresso (freshly brewed and slightly cooled)
  • 10 ml Maple syrup
  • 2 drops 20% Saline Solution
  • 3 pieces Coffee Beans (for garnish)
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Add vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, maple syrup and two drops of saline to a shaker.
  2. Fill with ice and shake very hard for 15 seconds.
  3. Fine strain into a chilled martini glass.
  4. Allow the foam to settle, then garnish with three coffee beans.
