Description

The Mexican Firing Squad was created in Mexico City in the 1930s. It is a bold tequila cocktail that balances sweet, tart, and bitter flavors.

The use of grenadine and angostura bitters adds complexity and a deep red color.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Tequila
  • 30 ml lime juice
  • 15 ml Grenadine
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Instructions

  1. Shake all ingredients with ice.
  2. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
  3. Garnish with a lime wheel.
