El Presidente is a Cuban classic that dates back to the early 20th century. It was named after Cuban President Mario Garcia Menocal and became a staple of Havanas golden era.
This cocktail blends aged rum with dry vermouth, orange curacao, and grenadine for a smooth and slightly sweet experience.
Ingredients
50 ml Aged Rum
25 ml Dry Vermouth
10 ml Orange Curacao
5 ml Grenadine
Instructions
Stir all ingredients with ice.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with an orange twist.
