Description

The Corpse Reviver family of cocktails dates to the 19th century as hangover cures. The famous No. 2 uses gin, triple sec, Lillet, and absinthe. Corpse Reviver 666 darkens the mix with blood orange liqueur and black absinthe, turning a classic morning pick-me-up into a gothic resurrection ritual.

Ingredients

  • 25 ml Gin
  • 25 ml Blood Orange Liqueur
  • 25 ml Lillet Blanc
  • 25 ml lemon juice
  • 1 dash Absinthe (dash)
  • 1 piece Orange Twist

Instructions

  1. Add the gin, blood orange liqueur, Lillet Blanc, lemon juice, and a dash of black absinthe into a shaker.
  2. Fill with ice and shake until thoroughly chilled (about 12–15 seconds).
  3. Fine strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  4. Express the oils of an orange twist over the drink and drop it into the glass.
  5. Serve immediately as a bold and aromatic cocktail.
