Chai Rum Manhattan

Chai Rum Manhattan

Description

The Chai Rum Manhattan takes the polished, stirred elegance of a Manhattan and gives it a warmer, darker, more aromatic twist. It still has that classic cocktail backbone: strong spirit, sweet vermouth, bitters and a silky, spirit-forward finish. But here, aged rum softens the rye’s spice with notes of molasses, vanilla and oak, while chai syrup brings a slow-building warmth of cinnamon, cardamom, clove and black tea.

It is the kind of cocktail that feels made for low lighting, colder evenings and after-dinner conversation. The rye keeps it sharp and grown-up, the rum adds roundness, and the vermouth ties everything together with a deep, wine-like sweetness. The chai does not turn it into a novelty drink; it gives the Manhattan structure a fragrant, spiced edge that makes the whole drink feel richer and more comforting.

Smooth, aromatic and quietly indulgent, the Chai Rum Manhattan is perfect for anyone who loves classic stirred cocktails but wants something with a little more warmth, depth and character.
