Brown Butter Old Fashioned is built around pisco, dragon fruit syrup, fig juice, giving it a clear identity from the first sip. It takes the Old Fashioned idea of spirit, sweetness and bitters and bends it towards a more seasonal or expressive mood.

Ingredients

  • 40 ml Pisco
  • 20 ml Dragon Fruit Syrup
  • 20 ml Fig Juice
  • 15 ml citrus juice
  • 10 ml Sugar syrup
  • Ice

Equipment needed

Bar Spoon – Used to stir the drink smoothly with ice before serving.

Instructions

  1. Add the liquid ingredients to a mixing glass with plenty of ice.
  2. Stir until very cold and lightly diluted.
  3. Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice or served straight up.
  4. Garnish with a clean aromatic finish and serve immediately.
