Description

Yuzu Garden Martini is built around gin, yuzu liqueur, shiso modifier, giving it a clear identity from the first sip. It borrows the Martini's sense of ceremony, keeping the serve chilled, elegant and direct while giving the flavour a modern signature.

What makes it great is the balance: the base brings structure, the fruit or aromatic element gives personality, and the chilled serve keeps everything crisp. It has enough theatre for a cocktail menu but remains simple enough for a confident home bartender.

Ingredients

  • 50 ml Gin
  • 20 ml yuzu liqueur
  • 10 ml Shiso modifier
  • Ice
  • Twist, fruit

Equipment needed

Bar Spoon – Used to stir the drink smoothly with ice before serving. Muddler – Useful for gently pressing herbs, fruit or sugar when building the drink.

Instructions

  1. Add the liquid ingredients to a mixing glass with plenty of ice.
  2. Stir until very cold and lightly diluted.
  3. Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice or served straight up.
  4. Garnish with a clean aromatic finish and serve immediately.
