Description

A brooding, seafaring highball suited to stormy nights. Spiced/dark rum and coffee liqueur meet cola and lime. It riffs on the Cuba Libre (rum, cola, lime), a 1900s classic, deepened with coffee notes for pirate swagger.

Ingredients

  • 40 ml Dark rum
  • 20 ml Coffee Liqueur
  • Cola to top
  • 10 ml lime juice
  • 1 lime wedge

Instructions

  1. Fill a highball glass with ice. Add dark rum and coffee liqueur. Top with cola and stir gently. Squeeze in lime juice to balance sweetness. Garnish with a lime wedge for a classic pirate look.
