Thanksgiving Margarita

Description

Thanksgiving Margarita works best when it is treated as more than a list of ingredients. The sour structure gives the drink its discipline: spirit for weight, citrus for energy and sweetness for shape. Tequila, triple sec, cranberry juice and apple cider should feel bright and deliberate, with the tart edge making the flavour pop rather than vanish.

The best version tastes alive, not merely acidic; it should leave a clean finish and make the next sip feel inviting.

Ingredients

  • 50 ml Tequila (blanco or reposado)
  • 25 ml Triple Sec
  • 40 ml Cranberry Juice
  • 20 ml lime juice
  • 15 ml Spiced Apple Cider (or cinnamon syrup)

Instructions

  1. Rim the glass with lime juice, then dip into cinnamon sugar (or graham cracker crumbs).
  2. Add tequila, triple sec, cranberry juice, lime juice, and apple cider/cinnamon syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice.
  3. Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well chilled.
  4. Strain into the prepared glass filled with ice (or serve “up” in a coupe if preferred).
  5. Garnish with cranberries, apple slice, or rosemary.
