Description

The Kahlua Mudslide is a dessert cocktail with no interest in pretending otherwise. Vodka gives it strength, coffee liqueur brings roasted sweetness, Irish cream adds warmth and cream turns the texture smooth and indulgent.

Done well, it should taste like a boozy coffee milkshake for grown-ups: rich, cold and velvety, but not cloying. Shake it hard, serve it chilled and treat it as the final course rather than the first drink of the night.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml Vodka
  • 30 ml Coffee Liqueur
  • 30 ml Irish Cream
  • 30 ml Cream

Instructions

Shake: Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake hard.

Strain: Strain into a chilled dessert cocktail glass or over fresh ice.

Serve: Finish neatly and serve.
