Description

Coquito is a beloved Puerto Rican festive drink made with rum, coconut, warm spice, and rich dairy. Often compared loosely to eggnog, it has its own distinct tropical character and is hugely popular during holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml White rum (white or gold)
  • 60 ml Coconut Cream
  • 60 ml Evaporated Milk
  • 30 ml Condensed Milk
  • 1 piece Ground Cinnamon (pinch)
  • 1 piece Nutmeg (pinch optional)

Equipment needed

Instructions

  1. Blend or shake the rum, coconut cream, evaporated milk, condensed milk, and cinnamon until smooth.
  2. Chill until cold, or shake with ice if serving immediately.
  3. Pour into a small glass.
  4. Dust lightly with cinnamon and optional nutmeg before serving.
