Description

What it is: An unapologetically rich 1980s dessert cocktail combining vodka, coffee liqueur, amaretto, Irish cream, cream and milk.

The story: The Screaming Orgasm is one of the best-known indulgent cocktails to emerge from the 1980s era of creamy, sweet liqueur drinks. Its family relationship is simple: versions without the vodka are commonly known as an Orgasm.

Why it works: Coffee, almond and Irish cream merge into a mocha-praline profile while vodka keeps the drink from tasting like a non-alcoholic milkshake. It is intentionally rich, so crushed ice and a very cold serve are important.

  • 38 ml Coffee Liqueur
  • 38 ml Amaretto
  • 38 ml Irish Cream
  • 38 ml Cream
  • 38 ml Whole Milk
