The Singapore Sling is a tropical cocktail that originated in Singapore in the early 1900s. This complex and flavorful drink features a base of gin, combined with cherry liqueur, herbal notes from Benedictine, and a refreshing splash of pineapple juice. Ingredients
• 45 ml Gin
• 15 ml Cherry liqueur
• 7.5 ml Benedictine
• 10 ml Grenadine
• 15 ml Fresh lime juice
• 120 ml Pineapple juice
• 1 dash Angostura bitters
• Pineapple slice and cherry (for garnish)
• Ice
Instructions
Mix the drink: In a shaker, combine the gin, cherry liqueur, Benedictine, grenadine, lime juice, and pineapple juice.
Shake: Add ice and shake vigorously for about 10 to 15 seconds until well mixed and chilled.
Strain: Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice.
Garnish: Garnish with a slice of pineapple and a cherry for a tropical touch.
