Description

Velvet cocktails have long been associated with indulgence—like the Black Velvet of the Victorian era. The Phantom’s Velvet Shadow modernises that tradition as a dessert cocktail: black vodka, crème de cacao, and cream. Smooth yet sinister, it blends luxury and darkness for Halloween.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml Black Vodka
  • 25 ml Dark Creme de Cacao
  • 25 ml Irish Cream
  • 20 ml Double cream

Instructions

  1. Add the black vodka, dark crème de cacao, Irish cream, and double cream into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until creamy and frothy.
  3. Fine strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  4. Lightly dust the surface with cocoa powder.
  5. Garnish with a chocolate shaving or curl for added decadence.
  6. Serve immediately as a luxurious dessert cocktail.
