Description

Velvet cocktails have long been associated with indulgence—like the Black Velvet of the Victorian era. The Phantom’s Velvet Shadow modernises that tradition as a dessert cocktail: black vodka, crème de cacao, and cream. Smooth yet sinister, it blends luxury and darkness for Halloween.

Ingredients

• 30ml black vodka
• 25ml dark crème de cacao
• 25ml Irish cream
• 20ml double cream
• Cocoa powder

Instructions

Add the black vodka, dark crème de cacao, Irish cream, and double cream into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

Shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until creamy and frothy.

Fine strain into a chilled coupe glass.

Lightly dust the surface with cocoa powder.

Garnish with a chocolate shaving or curl for added decadence.

Serve immediately as a luxurious dessert cocktail.
