Negroni

Description

The Negroni is one of Italy’s most captivating cocktails, a drink of bold character, timeless style, and unmistakable sophistication. Said to have been created in Florence in the early 20th century, it quickly became a favourite for those who appreciated flavour with depth and edge. Its iconic mix of gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth creates a remarkable balance: bitter, herbal, citrusy, and subtly sweet, all wrapped in its striking ruby-red glow. It is a cocktail that does not try to charm gently; it makes an impression from the very first sip.

What makes the Negroni so enduring is its confidence. This is a drink with real personality, celebrated as much for its elegance as for its complexity. Served as an aperitif, it awakens the palate and sets the tone for an evening with style. Over time, the Negroni has become a symbol of refined taste, loved by bartenders and cocktail enthusiasts for proving that bitterness, when balanced beautifully, can be every bit as alluring as sweetness.
