Honey Bourbon Thyme Lemonade

Description

The Honey Bourbon Thyme Lemonade is a modern twist on the classic American whiskey sour and herb-infused lemonade traditions. While it doesn’t trace back to a specific historical event or inventor, it emerged as part of the craft cocktail revival of the 2000s, when bartenders began incorporating fresh herbs, seasonal ingredients, and homemade syrups into cocktails. The drink draws inspiration from Southern American flavours, particularly Kentucky bourbon and the use of thyme, a herb often found in Southern cooking and mixology.

Its balance of sweet honey, bright citrus, warming bourbon, and earthy thyme makes it a popular choice in farm-to-table bars, garden parties, and summer cocktail menus. It represents a fusion of rustic charm with elevated, contemporary taste.
