Description
The Harvey Wallbanger is a bright and citrusy cocktail that became popular in the 1970s, though it was reportedly created in 1952 by California bartender Donato "Duke" Antone. The drink is essentially a Screwdriver (vodka and orange juice) with a float of Galliano, an Italian herbal liqueur that adds a subtle vanilla and spice complexity.
Legend has it that the cocktails name comes from a surfer named Harvey who was known for "banging into walls" after drinking a few too many. While its history is debatable, the drink remains a nostalgic favourite with a smooth, citrusy taste and an aromatic finish.

Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.
