Description

The Gin Fizz dates back to the late 19th century and was a popular drink in New Orleans. It is a variation of the traditional sour, featuring gin, citrus, sugar, and soda water to create a light and fizzy experience.

This cocktail was especially famous in the early 20th century, with variations such as the Ramos Gin Fizz becoming widely known.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Gin
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 15 ml Simple Syrup
  • Soda Water to top

Instructions

  1. Shake gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup with ice.
  2. Strain into a chilled glass.
  3. Top with soda water and serve.
