Description

The Fog Cutter was created by Victor "Trader Vic" Bergeron in the 1940s. Known as a "breakfast drink," it is a high-octane blend of rum, gin, brandy, and citrus.

Despite its potency, the drink is balanced and flavorful, often topped with sherry for extra depth.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml Light Rum
  • 15 ml Gin
  • 15 ml Brandy
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 15 ml Orange juice
  • 15 ml Orgeat Syrup
  • 10 ml Sherry (float on top)
  • 1 mint sprig (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Shake all ingredients except sherry with ice.
  2. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice.
  3. Float the sherry on top and garnish with a mint sprig.
