Description

Named after the French word for "jewel," the Bijou cocktail is a vibrant and herbaceous blend of gin, sweet vermouth, and Green Chartreuse. Created in the late 19th century, it was a favourite among bartenders before fading into obscurity and later revived by modern mixologists.

The combination of ingredients represents different gemstones: gin for diamond, vermouth for ruby, and Chartreuse for emerald.
